  • M4 barrel

I'm looking to replace the barrel on my Colt M4 rifle. I was looking at the Wilson Combat 16" light tactical match grade barrel. Or the fluted 16" match barrel. Was wondering if anyone had any experience with these and if they're worth the $250 price tag!?

If you are interested Bravo Company has good barrels, and Sportsmansguide has 16 in M4 barrels for $80.

That being said, I have never had a problem with any Wilson Combat parts, but mine are mostly for 1911.

I honestly don't see any reason to change out the barrel on a Colt.

If you're looking for a non-chrome lined SS barrel, you'll be hard-pressed to beat Wilson. I have the fluted match barrel in .300 BLK. Yes, they are worth it, IMO. You fired that rifle at the range day, BShootin'. It cleans in less time than any other barrel in my safe, and generally shows much less copper fouling.
