The mag well looks like it was meant for something else - is it using some form of mag adapter? Also looks similar to Kel-Tec's .223 rifle. Be interesting to see how well it performs.

The mag well has an interchangeable adapter for Glock or Ruger mags. I'm guessing if it is well-received, it will be made in .40 and .45 caliber as well. Maybe even 10mm.
I'm looking forward to getting mine.

Hmmm, as an update on this Ruger PCC in 9mm, I did get one and it is really a nice piece of work. I put the Glock magazine adapter in it (takes about 5 minutes) with no problems.

We now have "a few" guys who shoot these basically stock rifles in our local IDPA and Steel Challenge matches.

Throw an optic on it and you've got a pretty decent rifle for the various shooting games without having to shell out a lot of time and money tweaking a specialty rifle to get it to work.

Shooting the carbine has put the fun back into shooting several matches a week!!
