  • North Florida Gunsmiths? Anyone!

Need to have some work done on a Sig pistol and I need a recommendation of an northern area smith that knows what they are doing on Sigs.

    Thanks in advance.

I'd like to find a good pistolsmith around Jax myself.

Just west of Gainesville is Pickett Weaponry in Newberry on SR 26. Nick Garrett is top-notch, has been to the Sig school. He is the only non-factory person I'll let touch my guns.

I very very strongly suggest you avoid a gunsmith in Hawthorne operating as "Old Gunsmith Shop".

the only gunsmith i trust with my guns is hilliard gun and repair, he has worked on just about everyone of my guns, last week i had a mossberg 351cb he worked on it for 2 1/2 hours fixing the trigger assembly he didnt charge me anything, he fixed my kel-tec p11 and didnt charge me, he fixed the extractor on my stoeger coach gun for $5, he is very nice and very reasonable on everything he does, its a little drive from jax 20 miles from the jax line....

fixed my marlin model 99 (needed all the screws replaced) $5
completely took apart my model 60 .22 and replaced the firing pin spring and cleaned it for $15
