  • Sourcing supplies without breaking the bank

So like the title says, where do you find it best to get your powders, primers, and brass?

Brass is not that important as I can get it from the range but the others it seems like it was higher than last I looked. I was looking at Harbor Reloading but didn't know if it was worth the drive to that part from across the bay to make it worth it.

Seems like there is not that many places around the riverview/Ruskin area that is worth a drive. Looked at ordering but that Hazmat fee, ouch! Looked at a group buy but did not seean area for that.

Going to be reloading 9mm and 30-06, mainly for the range with some special rounds for hunting if that helps.

I have used http://www.evergladesammo.com/ in the past and always had good luck. Shipping is super fast to my area which is North Tampa.
https://www.youngsenterprises.com/ is always at the gun shows and has reasonable prices and good supply. You can place an order with him and he will bring it to a show to save on shipping.

Make sure you put your big boy pants on if you are going to visit Harbor in Clearwater. He has a tendency to rub people the wrong way but he comes around after you spend some money a couple of times.

Doesn't the Bass Pro by you stock powder? I can't remeber if they do or not.

Yea but they are crazy with the prices. Some powders are 10-$15 + more. Even saw one that was close to $30 more.

I forgot all about the gun shows! Gonna check them out.

I agree with the above, Space Coast is great, Youngs are at all the shows. I'd stay away from BPS, they gouge their prices! Also, get a group buy together and watch for special deals. Right now Powder Valley has free HazMat if you spend $150. Brownell's has free shipping today, too.

Graf and Sons has a deal on Vectan powder (Nobel) with free hazmat, $7.95/shipping on an order of 10 bottles or more.
              https://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog...ategoryId/3512

Buy in bulk, or get a few friends to go in on it; you can mix and match the various Vectan powders for the best deal

Powder valley or Graf &Sons seem to be getting most of my orders lately. Order in bulk to lower hazmat fees and shipping costs. See if friends want to split an order to lower costs.

Unfortunately, I don't have any friends that reload 30-06. PV and graf may be getting an order for bullets though as they seem to be a better price so far.

Graf's charges a standard $7.95 shipping for orders, which has proved to be a better deal on some orders despite their prices being a little higher. It pays to shop...
